Juggling elements of trip hop, noise, ocean grunge, and vaporwave all at once, everything feels almost effortlessly slotted into place, tied by the album’s environmental theming and the mood surrounding said themes. While Lindsheaven’s similarly themed “Nordwrong” was wistful, “Aqua Placenta” is tense, angry, bombastic.
